Abo­ve Not­hing is a per­for­mance series devi­sed by Julia Witas, rouge-ah and Anna Lucia. It crea­tes a land­scape for artists and musi­ci­ans who con­s­truct their works within the trans­for­ma­ti­ve and sen­ti­men­tal realms. Roo­ted in an expe­ri­men­tal approach to music, Abo­ve Not­hing navi­ga­tes the sacred, the pro­fa­ne and ever­y­thing in bet­ween by crea­ting nar­ra­ti­ves through sound, poet­ry and visu­al arts. Per­for­mance evenings fea­ture an array of cross-disci­pli­na­ry works in the sphe­res of dro­ne, dark ambi­ent, expe­ri­men­tal pop, noi­se and spo­ken word.
