tutti d*amore ist ein Berliner Musiktheaterkollektiv, das vertrocknete Oper*etten vom Ruf einer unzeitgemäßen Kunstform befreit und ihnen dazu einen wilden und echten Geschmack verpasst. Wir sind ein Cocktail aus professionellen Künstler*innen verschiedenster Sparten aus Musik und Theater, die mit dieser Kunstform mehr bewegen wollen, als bloß ihre Ausführenden zu sein. Wir verstehen uns als ein Medium, durch das Oper*ette zerlegt, verdreht, durchgeknetet und pikant-kross serviert wird.
tutti d*amore ist der Meinung, dass das Genre für diese neuartige Rezeptur vor allem ein breites und heterogenes Publikum braucht. Deshalb werden unsere Produktionen in unkonventionellen und öffentlichen Räumen aufgeführt. tutti d*amore versteht seine Kunst als eine freie und demokratische Arbeits- und Aufführungsform und hat sich daher bewusst für eine Kollektivierung entschieden. tutti d*amore is a Berlin-based music and theatre collective which cuts stale oper*ettas loose from their reputation as an anachronistic, dry art form and infuses them with authentic, bold flavour. We are a cocktail of professional artists from a variety of fields of theatre and music who want to do more with opera than simply present it in the traditional way. We take oper*ette, twist it, knead it, chop it up, and serve it crisp and piquant.
Above all, tutti d*amore wants its new and improved recipe for the old genre to suit a wide range of palates – and therefore puts on its productions in unconventional, often public spaces. Furthermore, it is organised as a collective with the aim of fostering a free and democratic way of working and performing. Despite the name, we do not sell fruit-flavoured food. We make oper*ette accessible. Theatre, for everyone, for the price of a pineapple pizza.
